03/02/2020   Children's Mental Health Awareness Week

Monday –

Introduction to ‘The 5 Ways to Wellbeing’ - Children will be discussing each of the five ways of Wellbeing and designing logos.


Tuesday –

Be active – Being active is great for your physical health and fitness. But evidence shows that it can also improve your mental wellbeing. So we will be participating in a whole school Yoga session.


Wednesday -

Give back – We will focus on small acts of Kindness towards other people.


Thursday -

Take notice - It can be easy to rush through life without stopping to notice much. We will be playing relaxing music throughout the school and focusing our attention on the present moment, to our thoughts and feelings and to the world around us.


Friday –

Keep learning – Learning new skills can be useful but it can also positively affect our mental wellbeing. This Friday we will be joined by Sam who is a trained nurse and level 5 practitioner to teach us all about hand reflexology.


Monday 10th

Connect – When it comes to wellbeing, other people matter! We would like to invite parents into classes on Monday 10th February at 2.30pm, for children to pass on their new wellbeing knowledge and teach you their new reflexology techniques.
